I think me and that guy should swap profile pictures lmao To the topic tho. There is a program called "GD Stash: that allows you to edit save files.
It's a bit tricky to use, but it has a manual and it's on the official forum, so it's safe. You could try to work with that if nothing else does it for you.
It will take some time, but spending hours to restore your saves is far better than grinding out entierly new sets of items on a blank char. It's no save file, but I hope it helps.
